The Cry Of The Joyce
This is a beautiful tune dating back to 1792 and was collected by Bunting. Liam O'Flynn plays a lovely version of this tune, and is worth a listen if you want to play this tune. Like with all slow airs the dots are a guide, and you really should listen to a good player to hear the phrasing of the melody.

The transcription here is 6/8, so ignore the 3/4 time signature.

I submitted the tune in 6/8 but it was changed by the time the sheet music appeared. Not sure why that happened.

I think I worked out why, I submitted the tune as a waltz as there is no category of air. I have changed the ABC now.
