Snowflake Hornpipe - on the fiddle
Hello all,
Been awhile since my last post, and I am still puzzled with this silly little tune. First off, no I can't read music well, and no, I haven't even heard this tune played. On top of all of this It has no time signature....so how is a rookie to know how to play it?
Do hornpipes all play the same speed? I am quite lost and would love some guidance from some other, more seasoned fiddlers. The only other things I can tell by the notation are that it is played in A. and that it is noted "alle breve", I think that means cut time, but heaven know I need help here!
I would especially like to hear it!!! I can picmk things up WAY fatser when I have heard it!

The Snowflake Hornpipe
I got this out of my old dog-eared copy of Cole's 1,000 Fiddle Tunes. Ages ago. I'm sure I've morphed it some from that setting, but this is how it comes out these days.
