I was trying to remember this tune yesterday.
It's related to the jig, Nora Criona (WIse Nora), posted here:
http://www.thesession.org/tunes/display/2009
I originally this tune (the slide) from the Clarke's Tin Whistle Tutor (with the title 'Nora Criona'), although, as I remember it, that version differed slightly in the final bar of both the A- and B-parts, thus:
k:G
|A2f fef A2B cBA:|

Yes, this slide appears as "Nóra ChrÃonna" on Eoghan O'Sullivan, Gerry Harrington, and Paul De Grae's trio album "The Smoky Chimney."

"I originally this tune..."
What I meant to say was, "I originally learned" or "I originally got this tune...", I can'r remember which. But it doesn't matter, anyway.
Slainte, do they play it as posted here or as it appears in the Clarke's book?

You're right, spoon. They actually play the whole tune in D, though.

Paging Nils Peterson ~ Paging Nils Peterson ~
I hope this 'nils peterson' isn't going to be another one of those phantom submitters, not bothering to tell us anything about the tune. Please 'nils', is this something you actually play? ~ does it feature in your local session? ~ did you learn it from somewhere specific? ~ do you actually like it? To just submit something and not comment is a bit too throwaway for me, and there's enough of that in 'modern' society, don't you think...

I have no information on this tune to share. I merely found it on an old sheet in the bottom of a music bag. The sheet was white with black writing. Better?

You don't actually play it? ~ anywhere? You just copied it off sheetmusic you found at the bottom of a music bag? ~ no idea where it was photocopied from? ~ Hmmm... I guess that is one way to practice your ABCs... At least you left comment...

"i don't care for this tune. i just play it at home on my own."
~ nils petersen
Fair comment... By the way, you might not know, there is no venom in the previous rants to get you to comment. Usually I do it quietly through email, but I guess two 'no comment' in a row made me lazy. Some folks have actually submitted tunes in the past and then posted comment that they 'hate' the thing... We've had endless chat about 'dag' tunes, an Australian term. If you do a search for 'dag', either here in the comments for some tunes, or in 'Discussions', you'll get a few laughs.
I apologize for ribbing you this way, but there was no ire in any of it. I'm always giving Dafydd a go when he submits or has submitted a tune, sometimes his own compositions, without comment, but he knows me and easily forgives. I should have ribbed you over 'no comment' in private...

This tune follows Coolfin on Donal Lunny's CD of the same name (Coolfin), again with the A and B part endings as |A2f fef ABd cBA| (intimated at, above, by Name ChangesRConfusing).
