A wonderfully wonderful kick ass schlide/single jiggy jig jig that I learned from my pipe teach, Patrick Hutchinson.
I do believe he said he learned it off an old recording [the wax cylinder ones] and that it's the ending tune to a longer, descriptive piece... Possibly Battle of Aughrim? Anywho, absolutely LOVE this tune.
Cheers,

A slide? It sounds like a normal pipe jig to me.

Ahhh. Yes, I can see/hear it now. I don't know what made me put it in 12/8, but it does indeed make more sense in 6/8. ::changes::

3 parts?
Is this supposed to be three parts, with the last two measures of 12/8 repeated?
Also, as a variation, f naturals sound nice.
Happy New Year!

Yes... I also wrote out the 2nd part without repeats 'cause I thought it was pointless to do a 1st and second ending.
