A real belter of a reel, with an aggressive, syncopated drive. I'm not usually a fan of syncopation in traditional-style tunes, but both Tabache's version, in A Dorian, and Chris Armstrong's, transcribed here, are real corkers. I imagine the tune was written in A, but when I heard Armstrong's version I was blown away, and that's why I've transcribed it in B. You can hear this fantastic Scots-piper here:

"Tannahill Weavers" used to play this. Can't remember if they had a name for it, but I'll look it up.
