Storm Cloud
A new jig (October/November 2006) which seems to be the product of mixing a pentantonic blues scale and a phrase from 'Banish Misfortune' on an octave mandola (where the fingering just seems to suggest itself).
It has a certain 'rock' quality to it. I wasn't entirely sure about the key signature, especially with mixing of B flats and B naturals in the second half - but I've stopped worrying about it.
A G drone (or G5 drone) seems to go quite well in the first half with maybe Gmajors and Fs added to the second
Dedicated to my partner Dawn.
