(Am I bothered? [for you not familiar with UK comedy at the present, don't worry, be happy!] ~ What? ~ me? ~ not bother? Nah, I might be bothered, but it isn't really in my nature not to bother to give a little time and space to the needs of others...within reason...)

Weird, I missed that, Jeremy moved the A Major version from the transcription and into the first note here in the 'Comments'.... C'est la vie, but I wish I'd caught that before adding it a second time ~ which I did when I noticed it had gone from the first try... That's what I get for having the page open more than once in different windows... :-/

"President Lincoln's Hornpipe" ~ for New England Contra Dance

This tune is also played straight, in the fashion of a reel, for accompanying New England Contra Dance... A lot of 'hornpipes' are given that treatment in North America, straight, without any swing...

This has been a particularly weird and uncomfortable day... Apologies if any of that got in the tunes or comments... I have a sneaking suspicion I may be in a pre-flu state ~ which means a bit of blue water and being slightly semi-conscious and headachy... I still haven't had that badly needed nap either. :-/
