I've submiited it as a reel but it's really not really a real reel.The slower you play it, the better it sounds.I learned it many years ago from a cassette that a Welsh musician gave me.The title means "Morris Wynn's Favourite".

This is often translated as someone's 'fancy' or 'favourite' / 'favorite'

"Difyrrwch Morus Wynn" / "Morris Wynn's Fancy" ~ imperfect memory
This was familiar, but I haven't yet found a transcription for it, so here goes, mostly keeping with your notes but allowing an occassional lapse as my memory takes it, though holding back on most of its fancies. While this is familiar, I can't say from where yet, but I'll keep looking. It isn't reminding me of a dance, not yet anyway. Here Is how I'd notate this tune, and I probably would have lodged it in that catch all category of 'barndances'. As you put it, it isn't really a reel or played fast... See if this makes sense:

"Morus Wynn" ~ ap John Wyn ~ ?
As near as I can figure, this is the 'lad', the first of the family of Wyn to adopt the English way of spelling Wyn, as Wynn, and a patron of the arts, as well as coming from a wealthy and politically active and influential landed family of the Mid Tudor times, 1500's, and having also been knighted, a Welsh Uchelwr ~ higher-person / nobleman. As well as having sweet melodies woven in his honour, like this, he also had the usual poetry of praise. So, in a sense, this air probably has more in common with O'Carolan's craft ~ laying it on thick for the gentry for a crust of bread and a bit of brew...
