Balls to Hall
I saw this tune listed on the 'requests' page, and since it is a tune I transcribed a while ago, I dug out my abc program and noted it all down. This version is transcribed more or less directly from the Folkestra North album, so it may contain ornaments and notation that are the result of the interpretation of the musician on the CD.
The B music modulates into E major, and the 2nd time bar drops back down into E minor - the intention (and indeed the way it is played on the track) is to go from the end of the final 2nd time bar directly to the A music again (missing out the upbeat). To finish the tune I suppose you should resolve onto an E minor chord. On the CD this tune segues directly into a G major reel.

Balls to Hall
I thought this was a Chris Ormiston tune.
Certainly Northumbrian and a refernce to Sir John Hall and his chairmanship of Newcasle Football Club. There are few people who respect in the North-east.
Noel.

Composed by.....
Joe Scurfield. Supposed to be something to do with "his mixed opinions regarding the owner of Newcastle United football club: Sir John Hall"
