Mick O'Connor's
This is the "Mick O'Connor's" reel which is on "The Dance Of The Honeybees" recording by Charlie Lennon and members of his family. Because Charlie recorded with the Dublin flute-playing Mick O'Connor, I'm assuming the tune is named after him, possibly as the source. Malcolm Reavell transcribed this for me a few years back, I've "tweaked" that transcription slightly.

That's a lovely tune. I shall have to learn it and play it to the other Mick (Banjo) O'Connor.

One of Charlie's...........
The tune is indeed named after Mick O'Connor, the Dublin flute-player, but he's not the source, he's the inspirition. This reel was composed by Charlie Lennon.

"Mick O'Connor's" by Charlie Lennon
Me and the 'highlights' again. The more often Charlie's name is mentioned the more often people will be drawn to these transcriptions...
Hey Kenny, have you made comment in the 'Comments' for the Lennon recording "The Dance of the Honeybees" yet?
