Anyone have a name?
Here´s a jig from a session with Tony Linnane and Dermot Byrne. They play it after "The Cat´s Meow". Any names going?

This tune appears on fiddler Kathleen Collins' album, 'Traditional Music of Ireland':http://www.thesession.org/recordings/display/30
as Father Kelly's. It's a composition of Father PJ Kelly.

Thanks Spoon
I followed the link you sent. Clicking on "Father Kelly´s" told me that the tune no longer existed in the collection.
Father Kelly´s it is then I suppose? I´m wondering now whether if I call it that name, it will cease to exist? I will try......

No longer exists
Hmmmm....I didn´t read the small print!.... Father Kelly´s SUBMITTED BY "no longer exists"!! This leads me to another question, concerning my furthered existence.....
But, while still here, I see that the "Father Kelly´s" on the link you sent, Spoon, leads to a reel....

Tim - I was momentarily flummoxed by 'no longer exists' as well.
As for the link to the reel: The various parts of this website are interlinked on the basis of tune title - the software doesn't make the distinction between different tunes with the same title. So, if a particular album has a Father Kelly's in its track listing, there is automatically a link set up to a tune of that name in the tune database. Looking at the 'Details' tab for this tune, you'll notice there are listed a staggering 23 recordings in which it is featured. But, in fact, they could contain any tune called 'Father Kelly's'.

The Easter Day Jig
The name Fr. kelly gave to this beautiful tune is actually The Easter Day Jig. On this programme at about 23 minutes is the story as to how it is so named, related by Fr. PJ Kelly:
