Background to St Patrick's Cathdral
This is written by John Sheehan (Dubliners), and was taught by Iain McDonald at Warwick Folk Festival in 2004. Iain wrote it in 2/4 time (I've also left out the grace notes).
I play it as a slowish march.
It's a corking little tune that is quite tricky to pick up by ear.
