Reavy's (hornpipe)
This simple little gem was learned from the beautiful concertina and fiddle duet playing of Claire Keville and John Weir on their album "An Tri is a Rian." The notes inform they learned it from James Kelly as Ed Reavy's composition. Anyone knows the original title?
I actually can't play the original setting of the tune on my keyless flute, but it's such a nice tune that I transcribed it to share. And Claire Keville, John Weir and Eithne Ni Dhonaile's trio album "An Tri is a Rian" is a really gorgeous recording and has been my favourtie for months. If you've never heard of them, get it now.

Recorded by James Kelly too?

Great tune, nice to see something good pop up amongst some really crap submissions these days. Thanks.

Glad you like it, Paddy. The beauty of this tune is its simplicity, I believe.

The Man from Barnagrove
A bit of research shows that's the correct title of the tune, and it was originally composed in Edor. It seems named after the composer's birthplace.

Anyone volunteers to transcribe Jame Kelly version of the tune? I wonder if he recorded it in Ddor or Edor.
