This jig was composed by my fiddle teacher, Jimmy Devine.

The Sevens recorded this tune along with another one of his tunes, "The Carpenter's Helper", on their album "Celtic Groove Brand" which is an absolutely kick ass album with an all [All?] Rhode Islander line up.

Cheers,
Armand

Nice tune, thanks for posting it. Not sure I can get my head wrapped around those F sharps, though. They work fine as F nats, or am I missing something....

Ooops, the low B below the staff should be a natural !!

And whoosis, I think it'd definitely help if you heard a recording of it. I can imagine the F#'s to be a very Jimmy Devine thing to do. I could definitely picture him saying something along the lines of "It's so groovy". Oooh I should ask him about that..

The F#'s give it a nice little twist, it helps if you give a slight pause before the note or slide up. I'm a fan =P

cheers,
ARmand
