Northern Frisk (three-two)
A second tune that our tune tutor brought back from a fiddle workshop at the Sidmouth Festival 2006, this time a three-two in stark A minor.
Our tutor has a variation on the 4th part as follows:
|:[e2e2][e2d2][e2c2][e2d2] [e4e4]|dcBA G2d2 BcdB|eagb edcB ABcA|E2A4 c2 B2A2:|
Note that there are several places in this tune where a double-stopped open A with the open E can be quite effective, as is an E-drone beneath the A in the last measure of each part.

good one
Like a typical baroque theme and its variations...
and with two beats to the bar, it can flow just as great!
