I believe James Kelly wrote this tune himself. Check the sleeve notes on the CD to be sure, but as I said I believe he's the composer. The Advance in the tune name is the home town of a fiddling friend of his in North Carolina.

A tune for Fred
Supposedly this tune was written for Fred Lail, fiddler from central North Carolina. A great player and all around good human being.
