lazyhound - thanks for suggestion, but I don't believe that this tune dates back to to the spelling of "jig" as "jigge". So unless there is some evidence of the use of this spelling in respect of this tune, I don't really think that "Anderson's Jigge" sh… more…
I dont even like the tune. Also not sure that it really feels like a hornpipe though I don't suppose it is quite a typical reel either. The way I heard it played by a Scottish fiddler was very straight. more…
