"Gan Ainm" ~ but sure this one has a name...
I'm hoping that Hetty or Kenny or 'Toxic Rag' might know this one. I'd been holding back on it since it came to memory, but I haven't yet found it at home or elsewhere. I was also sure it was already here on site, but after playing through all the barndances several times, while there are some that have a measure or two in common, I didn't find this one. I hate putting in tunes without a name, and I'm sure I had one for this but I haven't been able to remember it or find it in my notes. So, here it is after a long wait, and hopefully someone has a name or associations with it...

G & D Major ~
Sometimes it was played this way ~ as if it were a four part tune, a kick taking the fifth, and the octave jumps between duh D - d's... But, it is the same 32 bar tune in two keys, the second take given a bit more variation than the first. I particularly like the first take and that lower key of G...

Another take in D Major, with a variation on the B-part

I do remember we could treble the hell out of this little barndance / schottische, with the possibility of doing it on just about ever beat, and just to show what I mean, here it is O.T.T., but to be a bit more reserved
I'm only showing this mayhem on the first four measures. Honest, it really is fun:

Cannot really add anything 'c' but the 'A' music is slightly remeniscent of a Cotswold Morris dance tune called 'The Quaker'
the 'B' music has very slight similarity to the 'C' music of another English tune entitled 'The Siverton Polka' Neither are ITM and the similarities, although worth mentioning, are too slight to warrent ABC's I feel. However will add them if it seems fitting to do so.
