"I Looked East and I Looked West" from Taxi Mauve
This from Taxi Mauve, I'm not sure how to add stocatto to the notes, but in measures 3 and 4, the second and fourth notes get bit off short, as if you were saying "do it, do it, do it, do it". Same in the B part, but not as pronounced. This in the A part is a nice figure that sets the character of the tune when played like this.
X: 1
T: I Looked East And I Looked West
M: 2/4
L: 1/8
R: Polka
K: Gmaj

dg f/g/f/e/|fA A3/2B/|cAFA|FGG2:|
as an alternative, 2nd measure as |FAD B/A/| and 6th measure as |FAD A/B/|. These add a really nice bop to the flow, and actually increase the speed possible on a mandolin.
