Kathleen's Wedding
Composed by Josie McDermott. From his playing at the 1978 Ballisodare Folk Festival in Co. Sligo. Don't know why this isn't better-known - the only recorded version I'm aware of is by Marcas O'Murchu. His version is slightly different with a lot of his own variations.
Josie played this on a C-whistle, as does Marcas.

Kenny, you might be interested to know that Marcas has a new CD coming out in the next couple of weeks! I'll bring one to Campeltown, just in case.

Thanks , Dick - hoping to get to Cambeltown.
I meant to say that Josie McDermott plays those single-note D triplets in the first part of the tune with stacatto tongueing which was a feature of his whistle-playing.
