Eliot Grasso tune
I'm quite chuffed about this tune, which is my favorite of the six tunes Eliot gave us at the Tionol, not just because I love the melody of it, but also because he named it for the weekend.
The Flatirons, a rock formation above Boulder, Colorado, are called as such because they look like the plates of so many irons set up on end along the mountains above the city. It's pronounced "Flat Irons", just like it looks like. Kate, Eliot's wife, however, made a fairly common mistake while reading a sign and called them the "flat-ah-rons" (as in, Adirondacks).
So this tune is Up Against the Flatirons, which rhymes with Buchalawns.
