The Cullen Sisters
I love this incredible tune. It's composed by The Cullen Sisters and it was played for the composition competition 2005 in Meitheal Summer School.

I must say I find this a very attractive tune. I did listen to the others on that site and this was one of the better ones IMHO. Not that there weren't a few other gems there as well.

The Cullen Sisters...
They do actually have individual names you know. They are known by their friends as Katie, Kelly and Courtney (their parents must have been poets or sadists or something). On the mp3, it's played by Katie, because the judges wouldn't let more than one person play at a time...

Lord of the Rings
This is a lovely tune. The intro in the mp3 is part of the theme music for the Lord of the Rings film trilogy. And the jig itself, I think, is a variation on that air.
Another LOTR reference: the title "My Precious" is one of the best-known lines from the book and the films. The charcater Gollum refers to the Ring as his "Precious."
