Mulvihill's
From Matt Molloy's "Shadows Of Stone" CD. Someone asked about this last week. Nice wee jig, he plays it slowish, on a Bb flute. Probably named after Charlie Mulvihill - possibly one of his compositions - don't know. There are a few other tunes listed under his name.

Clarification
I've posted the first part as 16 bars, as the variation happens in the middle of the tune. The 2nd part is 8 bars [ the bottom 2 lines of music ] repeated.

Three Halfpence a Day (O'Neills 1001)
I asked about this jig and was delighted when Kenny posted the transcription from Molloy's Album. I've now just discovered it in O'Neills (in a slightly different key) so it dates to 1907 at the latest. The first part of "Young Tom Ennis" (in both O'Neill's 1850 and 1001 and collected by Ennis) is very similar too.
