Sorry, Geoff, I don't have an answer to that. My guess would be traditional, because it doesn't sound "recent" to me. It came from a double CD that Sean Keane made a few years back. Someone had it in the house in Mullagh during the Willie Clancy week , I think 3 years ago, and I learned it from that. It's the only time I've come across the tune. Sounds a bit Northern to my ears. It's not the "Delia Keane's" on the connected recordings by "Bakerswell" and John Kelly - I think that tune, in both cases, is a jig, which is also posted here. Delia Keane is quite possibly a relative of Sean ?

I believe this reel is traditional. I'm sure a relatively well-known tune in a different key has a virtually identical second part. Back from a session, I'm too drunk to think of the name of it.
