Tour of Scotland
I'm posting this tune, one of my own, at the request of Fiddlekit. I wrote this while on a life-changing sort of trip to Scotland, Northumberland, and Ireland in 1977. Worked on a sheep farm in the highlands (near Oban), visited the Hebrides, and stopped on Canna to meet John Lorne Campbell. The trip also included visits to Colin Ross, Archie Dagg, Iain Bain, and the Fleadh in Ennis. Life has never been the same since!
It was a challenge, believe me, getting all of the highlands and islands into one tune. You can hear me play it on fiddle, once through, at:

I hope you enjoy the tune.

Thanks, Randy! I've always loved this tune! I think I learned it off Airplang 2 last summer. Nice playing on your site, by the way
