Will the real W in WW please stand up?
I'm fairly sure this is the tune written by Karen Tweed called Waking in Wonderful Wark. There seems to be some confusion, with the name being applied to another jig which is actually Manus Lunny's Terracotta Plower Pot by Phil Cunningham. My guess is that the confusion arose from the track on Across the Waters on which Karen Tweed and Andy Cutting play first this tune and then the Plower Pot, but only this tune is listed by name on the sleeve. Anyway, if anyone feels like contradicting me, Bring It ON!!!
Incidentally, this tune goes all the way up to a high, high E! which is fine on the box I guess but all other instruments, beware. I'd like to hear it played on the whistle - or would only dogs be able to hear it?

Is this the Phil Cunningham tune?

Yes, that's the Plower Pot, I'm pretty sure. A fun tune also, and they go well together, I think.
