Basket of Yarn
This is one of my own tunes, composed back around '75. I just figured out how to make a live recording & upload it to the internet so you can listen to the tune:

If anyone gives it a listen, please let me know if the file is technically OK or not...
Thanks!

Hi, Randy!
The file is good, it sounds great! Thanks for posting the tune, I've always liked it. You should post your Tour of Scotland, that's my all time favorite tune. By the way, I wanted to thank you. It was you and your brother's recordings that got me into this type of music and contra dancing, and I love it so much! I can't imagine what I used to do before this!

Hi Fiddlekit,
Thanks for checking the file. Glad you like the tune, and I will get Tour of Scotland up one of these days (I'll let you know!). I love contra dancing and playing Irish tunes at dances - not all of them work for contras but the ones that do really seem to move the dancers. I'm looking forward to the NEFFA Festival this weekend.
