A John Brady tune my teacher gave to me.

I presume Escoreda is a place name. Does anyone know where it is? It sounds a little Spanish to me but the tune doesn't seem to feature anything foreign (but neither does the Road to Rio so that can't be expected).

Escoreda
Sounds like it should be "Esker Riada" Eskers are gravel banks deposited by rivers flowing beneath the Ice cap fduring the Ice Age, They are now above the level of the surrounding ground and were made use of for tracks. The Esker Riada carried a particularly
important road

The Reel of Eiscir Riada is the correct spelling for this. Composed by John Brady, the title refers to the esker that runs through North Offaly. The first bar should start with g GABG A-.

The last message should not have the small g at the start of the bar. It should read GABG A-. Sorry folks.
