Ricky's White Face

Mick Moloney recorded a great album, 50% banjo and %50 mandolin, about 20 years ago. This is it here:

For me , the outstanding track was 2 reels composed by Liz Carroll, called “Ricky’s White Face” followed by “The Top Of The Stairs”. I don’t believe Liz ever recorded them herself, and the only other time I’ve come across them was by Kevin Griffin, and “The Ceili Bandits”, who put them on a CD as “Liz Carroll’s Reels”. It would be a great shame if 2 such fine tunes were to disappear, so I’m going to post them both, hopefully to increase their circulation.
I’ve had these tunes in my head for some time, and sat down and transcribed them both on whistle. “Ricky’s” came out in D and “The Top” in A. However , when I went to listen to Mick Moloney’s recording, he had them as in C and G, [ albeit, capo’d up a semi-tone ]. I assume he was playing in the keys in which they were composed, so I transcribed them in C and G, but will also post the D and A “abcs” in the comments section.

Moloney's reels

My mistake - it appears the "Ceili Bandits" recorded the 2 tunes as "Mick Moloney's" reels. Don't know whether or not they credited Liz Carroll.
