The Hooded Cloak
I learned this from Johnny McCarthy and Pat Crowley’s “Fool’s Dream” where it follows “The Harp and the Shamrock”.
Pat Crowley composed The Harp and the Shamrock (a brilliant tune!), and I wonder if he wrote this one as well. It’s so simple and compact, yet really lyrical and fun to play. Of course, this transcription is the the shadow of a memory of an echo of their performance – you really should get the album or at least this track (it’s available on itunes, which is where I bought it). They rock. Or whatever the diddley equivalent is.
