I think you may find that what you have her is part of the tune "The Drunken Gauger" a set dance from Co. Clare.

That's strange and could get confusing in a session if you couldn't play it properly! Just don't confuse it with the Blackthorn Stick which is also a common Jig, as you all well know anyway.

well i didn't think so, it sounded just like the stick to me. oh well never mind i must have gotten it wrong.
