Miss Lacey's
I heard this one at a session this past weekend. I didn't find it with a quick search at this site, so I thought it might be nice to add it here for general consumption.

Origin?
Do you know where this tune is from? Is it Irish or English? and should I be playing it with a dotted rhythm like Irish hornpipes? Nice tune.

Origin of Miss Lacey's
Hi Roisin,
I don't know, but I am guessing that it is of Irish origin. When I heard it played, it was with an Irish-style dotted rhythm. Thanks for the tune compliment.

Breathnach (CRÉ IV), 1986; No. 214 (appears as untitled hornpipe). Roche Collection, 1982, vol. 2, No. 226.
