The Capuchin
This is an old jig, more commonly played in D (not as originally posted here in "G incognito"). It appears in James Aird's "Airs and Melodies," a widely popular six-volume series published from 1778 to 1801, which included Scottish, Northumbrian, and English tunes. (For more info on Aird's books, and a CD-ROM edition, go to: http://www.purr.demon.co.uk/aird/)
