The coolest tune in the pentatonic scale ever
When I set out to learn this 3-part Mike McGoldrick tune I didn't realize at first that despite being incredibly groovy and catchy it only had five notes in it: DEGAB in various octaves. McGoldrick's genius is to take these five notes through all their paces without seeming formulaic.

This is a great tune.

Transription error
oops . . . I just found a stray note in the 2nd and 6th measures of the third part: the "B" should be an "e". The abc's are updated.

Corrandulla sounds like an Australian placename but it is in fact on the eastern shores of Lough Corrib in Co. Galway - great for fishing.

Key change
This tune also appears on McGoldrick's new CD "Wired," though in the key of A. It's kinda nice there.

The Road to Cowandilla?
I live in Cowandilla, South Australia and the road to Cowandilla is not much to speak of. I imagine Corrandulla, Galway is much nicer. The only thing you can catch here is a Qantas 747 from the airport which is basically next door. There are definitely no fish around.

Apparently Corrandulla is where Frankie Gavin comes from originally.
