Dancing Sarah

This lovely 4 part reel was written by Charles "Wolf" Jevons, flute and whistle player from Toronto.
I heard it a few times in Toronto sessions, but finally learned it properly from Michael Ayles of Montreal. You see, Wolf is just too modest to play his own tunes unless strongly encouraged.

dAle where you have written ^B (B sharp) did you mean to write =c (c nat)?

Thanks, I changed the ^B to =c in the ABC notation. The midi plays correctly either way.

Dancing Sara...no "H"

I've just been informed that this reel was written for Donna MacLeod's daughter on her first birthday...and yes, she did dance to it. And also, there is no "H" in Sara.

Great tune to post, Dale!

Do you have a decent recording or you and/or Wolf playing it, or do I need to go digging through the session recordings from Goderich?

I think I can save you the digging and send you something.
