McHugh's Reel

A simple reel learned off Cathal McConnell's "On Lough Erne's Shore." It's played after a beautiful set dance called Andy Kerrin's. Somewhat reminds me of The Morning Star.

The A Part is Terry Teehan's all over again.

# Posted on October 4th 2005 by Will CPT

Yeah, but Terry Teehan's is more closely related to The Tap Room.

I was going to transcribe the next tune too, but will leave it to you, Paddy.

Please post "Primrose Path"

Actually, slainte, I would be grateful if you would take the time to post the next tune -- it's the "Primrose Path", right? I got both titles mixed up and taught McHugh's to other people as The Primrose Path. It's on at least one site by that name and I see myself mentioned there as the source. Either I have forgotten "The Primrose PAth" or didn't learn it in the first place. Alas, I no longer have the album, so if you can, please post the tune.
