Might not be duplicated

Sorry, they are not exactly the same. Very similar though.

I checked that one out before I posted the it.I thought that "The Bride's" was different enough to be a seperate tune.

A nice link slainte and definitely a related tune. Another link to another tune with a similar 'A' music is: www.thesession.org/tunes/display.php/1153 'the Brisk young lads' also called 'the Bung in your eye'. I also have this one as 'Mary the Maid' ( and also called 'Bung your eye') I found this in The Second fiddler's Tune-book edited by Peter Kennedy in association with the E.F.D.S.S. copyright 1954 and reprinted 1965 and bought for the princely sum of 3 shillings and six pence (sterling).

I frequently use a tune called 'Hurry the jug'. This also has a very similar 'A' music but I like the 'B' part very much. I will get round to submitting the ABC for it shortly.

These tunes all remind me of Lannigan’s Ball.

These all seem closely related but different, though, IMO.

Yes! I agree they do have some similarities to Lanigan's Ball. I wonder which is the 'mother' of these tunes. Are there any other offspring?
