Loch Earn (reel)

I learned this Scots reel from a generously long sample clip of Kieran O'Hare and John Skelton's flute duet playing, which is available on the net. I actually recorded the complete set from a radio programme some months ago, but it seems I deleted it by mistake. Nice to find the clip anyway. A bit of research shows it's attributed to Neil Gow. A simple yet effective tune!

P.S. I might have posted this as a jig by mistake. Thanks Jeremy for correcting the files.

the tune is actually by Nathaniel Gow (though was early on incorrectly credited to his father, Neil Gow- see the Skye Collection p94) coming from his 2nd collection of 1788. The Loch Earn in question is in Perthshire.
