Deirdre's Fancy
I know this tune from a CD we got when our girls were doing the dancing. It's called 'Irish Dancing Times' and recorded by the Gallowglass Ceile Band. This is the second tune on track 4, the first being 'Strike the Gay Harp'. The label calls it 'Deirdre's Fancy' but as far as I know thats a well known slip jig. Think I have it along the lines they play it - wouldn't be sure about the key. Can anyone confirm if that's what it's called - perhaps it's here already in some other form. Thanks.

Deirdre's Fancy
Well, no one seems to be able to be forthcoming with a name for this so I guess the album credits must be correct and it's known as Deirdre's Fancy. Though a completely different tune from the slip jig of than name.
