Anyone ?
From a Miltown session, 1986 or thereabouts, with Frankie Kennedy{RIP}, Mairead Mooney and a crowd from Belfast. Transcribed for me by Malcolm Reavell. This may be here already, but nothing came up from an "Advanced" search. Anyone have a name for it, or know anything about it ? For some reason, I'm thinking Josie Keegan.

It seems to me to be a reel version of this jig:

Although the reel version I've heard is a bit different to this. Don't know it well, and I don't think I've a recording of it. But I have heard it in Belfast.

"[This] is a reel version of the jig Brennan's Favourite. This reel version came from the creative mind of Belfast fiddle player Andy Dickson, who played fine music with Dermy Diamond in the eighties and who is still playing away at sessions in the city today. I don't know what name Andy gave the tune, but as I learned it from him, I call it after it's creator- so Andy Dickson's it is.

Name change
Since it was Andy Dickson who "de-composed" "Richard Brennan's" jig to give this reel, - according to "red diesel" - see above - I'll give it the title "Andy Dickson's'".

Conan said he'd e-mailed A.D. a while back to ask him if he'd given it a title, but I don't know if he ever got a reply.
