A Calvin Vollrath Tune
Calvin Vollrath is a virtuoso Canadian fiddler and composed this tune. I guess that makes this a Canadian fiddle tune. It is on his cd, "Bonjour, comment ça va". I just transcribed this tune tonight and thought the tune is tremendous fun, so I decided to share it with everyone. Try adding a little swing to the 1/8 notes (though not as much as a hornpipe). Apart from a delightful melody, it has a cool chord progression to boot.
