How it got written
There was a smallish rotten spot in my bathroom floor, and I started opening it up to fix it. It got bigger as I picked away at wood that had gotten water soaked. I kept dropping tools down it, and then one of the cats almost dove through it when I wasn't paying attention. So you can hear the tools go "thunk" in the A part, and the cat being snatched back up (if you have a sufficiently vivid imagination) (I have... but I wrote it...)
