Welsh Slip Jig
This a lovely tune that I learnt at a workshop ran by Paul Hopkins(ex Yr Hyntys). This is his arrangement of the tune.

Hoffedd Modryb Marged
Sounds like gibberish, but I asume it's Welsh. Any idea what it translates as?

"Hoffedd Modryb Marged"
Hoff / hoffi - pronounced 'h-off' / 'h-off-ee', meaning 'fond' or 'like',
as in "I like coffee!" / "Wi'n hoffi coffi!"
Hoffedd - pronounced 'h-off-ath', the 'th' being aspirated as for 'the'...
usually taken as 'fancy'
Modryb - pronounced 'mo-drrrib'
meaning 'Aunt'
Marged - pronounced loosely 'mar-gad'
Welsh 'Margaret'
So ~ "Aunt Maggie's Fancy"

"Yr Hwntws"
'who-n-twos' ~

Meaning 'The SouthWalians', or 'The Welsh from the deep South'...
~ a favourite Welsh group from the 80's, now 'reformed' and doing the touring circuit...though I've not had the pleasure of hearing them in their reincarnation...
Their one excellent recording from the past:
