I think it's strange that you posted this as a Mazurka, as it is clearly a waltz. At the Bal Folk, people also dance a waltz to the tune.

the Ab makes more sense on the fiddle as a G#
easier fingering.. makes more sense as an E major chord too
I know it's semantic but it confused me for a bit there..
