I think this may be the waltz that was the subject of a recent thread. I haven't submitted a tune before, so let me know if I screwed it up.

I forgot to mention that I found it on Henrik Norbeck's web site.

What Luck
I listened to this piece off the Celtic Fiddle Festival "Encore" CD this morning and decided that I would transcribe it this evening. I love this site - thanks for posting the tune.

Mrs. Kenny's
This is more how I learned it and it's worked when I played it with anyone. My main difference is with the middle part I think.

I first got it from a recording by fiddler Johnny Duffy and then a few years later heard Coleman's version and tweaked how I play it from that. Theirs' aren't very different and they both repeat the A the first time through.
If slurred in some way that keeps a good beat, the triplets in the A part don't sound schmaltzy at all.

Some bars are 5/8...? - for example: |d3 fd | c3 ec |
I know I submitted some version of this previously, some take on it, but that must have been a tune duplication that Jeremy discovered and purged, which is no longer with us. Here's another take on it, basic and minus all the possible 'triplets', double-stops and 5/8 bars, some making a show elsewhere here. There's some added content adjustment taken from transcriptions of wind players for the benefit of 'others' limited to the 'D' below the staff, for example, instead of | A,2 C2 E2 |, already in submission, I've exchanged that for | A2 c2 e2 |, which was transcribed from the playing of a fully keyed flute with a low and fully functioning Bb foot...

Oops! ~ That repeat sign that begins the third part of the tune should not be there... It should just read, with a few triplets and variations thrown in this time, since it is being repeated ~

Also, previously, for bar 13 of this third part I'd written:
| d4 cB (ed) | ~ that's two alternate takes on that third beat:
| d4 cB | ~ or ~ | d4 ed | ~ having heard and played both...

Correction to 5/8's in my version
d3's and c3's in the last half of the third part should be d4 and c4. Thanks. I've patched my local copy.
