Thanks for the info,I knew nothing about the tune.I transcribed it years ago from a cassette someone gave me.I have another Manx tune called "The Sheep In The Snow",is that a well known tune?

Yes, Sheep in the Snow is an old Manx tune/song, although it actually translates as Sheep Under the Snow. I think The Horslips recorded it once.

the name flitter daunsey is actually manx for limpit dance ppl wud go to the beaches and dance to this tune and eat the limpits native to the area on good friday i know because i have taken part in this feastival and i speak manx
