Not sure about the key signature. It comes from Michael O'Raghallaigh's CD.

It's quite a bit different from the Brian O'Lynn that I know

But still duplicated, isn't it?

2nd part

Ok, so the second part is virtually identical.....

# Posted on July 26th 2005 by Matt&Clare

The 1st part's quite a bit different though, and the part endings are distinct - I like the way both parts end on D. I think they're similar sounding and related tunes, a bit like Scotsman Over The Border and the Carraroe. No point in lumping them in as the one tune if the differences are interesting enough.

Duplicated

There are two distinct versions of "Brian O'Lynn" on this site. I think what Dow is talking about is this one: http://thesession.org/tunes/display.php/830 Actually, Ritchie's transcription is almost identical to the other one, which was posted as "Scully Casey's" by Alancorsini this year: http://thesession.org/tunes/display.php/4139
