The Grey Bob
Heard an acquaintance (GHP player, normally) rip this out on a D whistle, overblowing the high a’s like a mutha and just ripping on it. Hypnotic in its simplicity. Got the gist of it from him, then listened to the Tannahill Weavers version. Hard to transpose from that “Bb and a wee bit” pipe tuning. Brenda Stubbert plays this as well, I think, tho I’ve never that version yet.
