"The Whiskey Jig" ~ Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia

Keeping it simple again, but here are a few ways with bar four for both the A & B parts of the tune, starting with as it is given here:

| A3 AFD | ~ | A3 AGA | ~ | ABA AGA | ~ | ABA A2 G | ~ | A2 A AF/E/D |

~ and bar 4 of the C part: | d3 dfa| ~ | dfe dfa |

This is one of the most popular tunes for dancing and playing. I've a few other Cape Breton jigs I'll offer up here, if I can confirm they aren't duplications, and for one of those I'll include a 'short' introduction to the basic jig stepping that goes with these tunes. This stepping is sometimes used by musicians to accompany themselves with as they play, making music with their instrument and their feet simultaneiously, usually from a seated position... Something shared with the Quebecois...

WOW! ~ POOF! ~ Damn that was fast, I've only just caught my breath ~

We're off to see the Wizard
The Wonderful Wizard of Org
We hear he is a Whiz of a Wiz
If ever a Wiz there was
If ever, oh ever, a Wiz there was
The Wizard of Org is one because
Because, because, because, because, because
Because of the wonderful things he does
We're off the see the wizard
The Wonderful Wizard of Org ~

Lions and TIgers and Bears, Oh my ~
