I apologise once again for submitting a tune without a name. I learnt it from Ciarán Hanrahan in his banjo workshop at Feakle. He himself did not have a name for it . He said he learnt it form a box player (whose name I forget). It is a charmingly individual tune, which I've never heard the like of.
A name, anybody?

This tune appears on the LP record "SPRING IN THE AIR" - Shanachie #29018 by PADDY O'BRIEN, JAMES KELLY, and DAITHI SPROULE, where it is given the name "SARAH'S DELIGHT".

Paddy O'Brian made this tune, and it is named after Sarah Kelly, James Kelly's daughter:
In his collection he writes "During the time I was trying to make this reel, I was startled out of my concentration by tiny ticling fingers at my feet. When I looked down I saw this joyful child of one year looking up at me. As I continued to play more, she began to jump and prance on the boarded floor"

Sarah's Delight
Here's a transcription from the actual recording. It's very close to how Spoon has it with a few minor differences, mainly the 2nd to last bar where it stays on Fnat for the whole bar (I think I prefer the way Spoon has it).

Originally in F
Paddy O'Brien recorded it in F with James Kelly and Teada play it in F too so I presume that's the original key. Not easy on the banjo in F but it does sound nice.
